Through our increased provision, all Key Stage 1 and 2 children will have potential access to one hour per day of laptop usage on our soon to be revamped managed wireless network system. Existing school laptops are getting a memory and battery boost, two further more powerful laptop trolleys and an additional laptop/tablet trolley are being purchased to really move us forward and provide much greater flexibility. The Foundation Stage will also soon have convertible laptop tablets to again make full use of our managed wireless system.

This network will mean all school devices will run at a much faster speed in all designated school working areas and vitally important ICT skills can be used across the whole curriculum, become embedded and the subject transparent. This ensures our children are prepared and have the necessary skills to succeed during their next step in education and indeed throughout future life.

Each class will always have web access via a convertible laptop tablet (shown on page one!) to empower the children to raise the bar in terms of enquiry, research and presentation.
